Who We Are?

Colorado Sports Ministry Institute is a ministry branch of Colorado Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). Our training program is a 10 to 12 month faith-stretching opportunity, with a subsequent in-field ministry placement as an FCA Area Rep. This program is ideal for Christian athletic leaders ages 20-30 who want to pursue the call to full time sports ministry. The CSMI process is designed to empower young women and men who seek to lead their generation toward Jesus Christ through the venue of sports.

What we do

Colorado Sports Ministry Institute provides an in-depth, hands-on training platform for Christian athletic leaders to go into full time sports ministry within the Rocky Mountain Region of FCA. Upon successful CSMI program completion, CMSI graduates are placed in strategic locations as FCA Area Reps to enable them to fulfill the Great Commission.

How does CSMI work?

The Campus Ministry of Colorado FCA has thoughtfully developed and thoroughly field tested a '4-Quarter Program', that empowers the next generation of athletic leaders to get off the bench and into the game. This leadership training is designed to build Godly relationships using life-on-life experiences.

Over the past four years, Colorado Sports Ministry has built upon three key pillars of learning made available to its students.

Classroom training — an open atmosphere where students will work with seasoned FCA staff to learn the game plan for impacting sports ministry in Colorado.
"Hands-on" experience — an integrated approach where students will be given responsibilities in local FCA huddles and Colorado events.
Mentoring and family time — a home-away-from home setting provided through one-on-one mentoring with CSMI & FCA leaders, coupled with our FCA family get-away retreats.
